Here we are in 2013 already… boy, where did 2012 go? I have to say I’m very excited at the thought and prospects of 2013. January for most people is a month of renewal, resolutions and healthy ideas. We aren’t going to be any different here… well, maybe a little. This month we will be sharing healthy ideas, foods and fun exercise. Oh, and dog snackies. DON’T WORRY, THIS MONTH IS NOT ALL ABOUT MY GIRLS! It’s new years, start it with a laugh and think I just asked you to pull my finger… tee heeee?
Our first video is a fun little treat for our puppies. I LOVE my puppies and make their food for the most part. I do add a scoop of kibble to the food I to give it that crunch. Every weekend I put a whole chicken in the crock and cook it for 12 hours (overnight) until it almost dissolves. I use the whole thing… bones and all. The bones just crumble and are no problem or worry for choking. With the juice from the crock I add rice and other grains to cook. I add a bag of frozen veggies, garlic, onion, healthy powder (made from a recipe book for dogs). Lets just say they get very healthy food and LOVE IT! They usually want to hang out with Mom in the kitchen on that day. Their coats are shiny and healthy. One

These are my favorite girls! Randi, Destiny & Summer
other and more personal reason, there are no large in size or amounts of poop in my yard because their body uses what they eat. I can serve them smaller portions then just using bag dog food.

Different batch, but just as good!
Today I made their snackies. We use these as “good girl” treats. They gobble them up! This was a quick video, something just for fun. Hope you enjoy… the girls certainly did.
I know, we misspelled biscuit… oh my.

Excellent! Silpat mats are the best…….great music too! Thanks for the smile today!
I thought the music was very appropriate… made me laugh, but I’ll never hear that song again without thinking about my girls. Want the recipe for your kids?
Fun! Such lucky dogs!
Sounds like they are very lucky to have you to care for them.
They are so spoiled! But not rotten, very loving and loyal friends.
Happy New Year
thanks, you too. See you Friday night!!!
That is so sweet that you make their food for them my little doggy would love you!!! I have no desire to get in the kitchen and cook for my dog though. LOL does that make me a horrible person??? At least I give her treats and take for walks!
That does NOT make you a horrible person! My girls are spoiled and I don’t have a 5 yr old running around wanting food too!
Randi and Summer are the healthiest puppies. I admire their coats everytime I see them. if i ever get another puppy, I will use your recipees. Song was great but… it is stuck in Hubbies brain and between him singing one off tune line at a time and asking me to pull his finger… well it is worth it.
Rob is so funny… pull his finger and see what he does. I bet he kisses you!
Vi, I can’t believe how much we have in common! You cook for your dogs? I do too!! Those dog bone biscuits look so yummy!!
I could send you the recipe… my dogs LOVE them.
Vi, what lucky dogs to have someone to cook for them! Pets certainly become important members of the family and it’s nice to make sure they have a healthy diet just like the rest of our family!
Grrrr….I keep trying to subscribe and am having trouble! I so want to get your updates!!!
I’ll try to help. Going to the message board to talk to you.
Vi, I must have missed an episode. I just now watched the video. I make doggie treats sometimes and they go so fast. My dogs are spoiled too. Thanks for your cool site!!
